Contact your Players!
- If you haven't contacted your parents, please do so immediately. We're already 1 week into practices so give the parents their money's worth! If you have trouble contacting a player's parents or guardian, please let your Division Commissioner know. We can't disenroll players we can't contact until after the first game of the season.
Practice Parks
- Once Coaches have had the initial team meeting and have figured out which park to use, please contact your Division Commissioner to let them know. Here is the current park status:
Not available: St. Pius, Mariposa Basin, LBJ Middle School, SF Village Park North, Riverview, Chaparral, Marie Hughes, Petroglyph, West Bluff.
Available: SF Village South, El Rancho Atrisco, Montano West, Westgae, Cahmiza, Eagle Ranch, Terrazas, Alamosa. If you are going to practice at one of these parks, check with your Division Commissioner BEFORE practicing or changing parks so that we don't overbook a park. If a park isn't listed here, contact your Division Commissioner so we can arrange the park. Do NOT practice until you hear back from your Division Commissioner as there is no insurance in effect for a non-city of ABQ park not listed here.
Training, Player Drops/Additions, and Other Stuff
- All Coaches that have had players drop or have open spots on their rosters need to email the Boys Commissioner or the Girls Commissioner to have players on the waiting list placed onto a team.
- ALL Coaches and Asst. Coaches must take the Safe Haven course. Returning Coaches and Asst. Coaches can take the course online.
ALL NEW Coaches and Asst. Coaches must take the course through Region 104. To register for Safe Haven training with Region 104 select this link Region 104 Training Schedule.
- 1000 minutes to better soccer is a great way for your players to develop their soccer skills outisde of practice and games. Have the players track their time on the 1000 minutes to soccer form, and then have them turn it in to you at the end of the seasson for a prize, for example you can give the kids a soccer pal.
