Due to the Governors mandate, from July 8^th update, that all fall contact sports be cancelled, we here at AYSO 1447, Albuquerque West Side, have been in discussions as a board of directors.  We have been trying to come up with a plan and a path forward that will benefit everyone.  We are striving to provide a quality soccer program that is positive, fair, fun, and safe for all our players.  As of right now we are stopping registration for the 2020-2021 season.  Anyone that has already signed their child up for this season have a couple of options:

1. Request a full refund.AYSO 1447 will refund 100% of the regional fees.There a $20 per player national fee that the region is unfortunately unable to refund.This $20 fee per player can be requested from the AYSO National office (https://ayso.org/contact/).All refund requests will be processed as soon as possible and refunds issued via check by mail.Once the 2020-2021 season is opened for registration you would need to register for the season.Please note that you will not have to pay the National fee of $20 again, unless you requested a refund from AYSO National.
2. Leave your child registered.This option will keep your child registered for the 2020-2021 season.AYSO 1447 board is planning/hoping on holding a shortened fall season and a regular or extended spring season.The board will be mindful of the current regulations set forth by the governor and will plan according to these mandates.If it becomes apparent that no fall season will occur a portion of the registration will be refunded.

Once the mandate of no contact sports are lifted we will open up registration again.  We at AYSO 1447 are striving to provide your children with a safe quality program.  Please watch for more updates via our Website and Face Book page.  Once we reopen registration we will also send out emails, Peach Tree notices (School notices), and Face Book post.  We appreciate your patients and support.
