About AYSO Region 1447

AYSO Region 1447 offers a fun and safe environment for your child age 4-18 (Region 1447 Age Guidelines) to enjoy the sport of soccer. We are dedicated to the AYSO philosophies of:
  • Everyone Plays
  • Open Registration
  • Balanced Teams
  • Positive Coaching
  • Good Sportsmanship
  • Player Development
The soccer season runs from September through April. (There is a break in the winter months). The season is split between the fall and spring. There are eight games played in the fall and eight games played in the spring.

We are a 100% Volunteer Run Organization. We do not receive any compensation at all (this includes Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Referees, Field Markers, Board and Staff Members. Because we volunteer, we can keep our fees low, and enable more kids to enjoy the game of soccer. All that we ask by joining our organization is that you help us out and volunteer where ever possible. Every year we form about 160 - 175 teams. This means we need 160-175 Coaches, Asst Coaches, and Referees every season. All of our coaches are either parents or relatives of our players and are trained and screened by AYSO. Please join our ranks and help us make this a great organization for your kids!

Please browse our web site and check our Frequently Asked Questions for any questions you may have.

In order to succeed we need your help. There are several positions that need to be filled. Please see the "Contact Us" page for the positions available. Please contact us by calling the AYSO Line at 505-926-1447 for more information on how to get started as a volunteer.

Thank You!
