Hope this message finds your families well!  At this point we have received over 300 responses to our survey, thank you for your responses, if you haven’t had the chance to give us your input for the remainder of the season, our summer 5v5 program, please take part in our survey.

My fellow board members and I are ready to implement a May schedule based on the feedback we have received. But as all of you are aware, we have had the date of social distancing extended to April 30.

AYSO National Board has stated we are NOT canceling the season but suspending it!

The board has voted to keep the cost for next season at $120 for both Spring and Fall Seasons. 

Below is an exert from the email to me from the National Board of Directors. 

 “As most of you are aware, the federal government’s guidance on social distancing practices will remain in place through at least April 30. 
 
Our decision to place all AYSO on-field activities on hold does not change with this latest guidance: AYSO field programs are postponed (not canceled), and that will remain the case at least through April 30, and possibly longer. This is also consistent with The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) position with respect to the federal guidance.  
 
We will continue to monitor the evolving situation and keep you updated. At this time, it is not possible to set a date for lifting the suspension of activity. That said, we are actively working to provide tools and resources for our Regions and your families, such as:

• AYSO Resources Blog found here, bit.ly/aysoathome, is an active resource page for players and families, with new content being added on a regular basis. In addition to a variety of soccer-themed content, the page also contains links to The Coaching Manual for both players and coaches, which is being made available at no charge for a limited time.
• We are pleased to announce that our friends from The Coaching Manual have stepped up during this time to offer all AYSO players a free 45-day membership to their new skill based app, TopTekkers. Invitations will be sent to parents/players next week for them to download and start using this fun, interactive player education app that allows them to refine their skills while they're off the pitch.”
